When you reach a certain age, people may often be asked the question: When will you get married? This question is inevitable, especially if you have someone you share your life with. As time passes, if one of the couples also comes into this expectation, the course of the relationship can be quite painful. Just like Gertrude Ngoma, who has been in a relationship for eight years.
Gertrude Ngoma has been dating Herbert Salaliki for eight years. During this very long dating process, Ngoma was passed on by her boyfriend with the constant promise of marriage. However, when this situation struck the young woman, she took her breath in the courtroom.
'IT WAS NOT SERIOUS ON THE WAY OF MARRIAGE'
In the report on Kenya's local site Tuko, the 28-year-old bride-to-be told the Zambian court that she thought her boyfriend was not serious about their relationship. Gertrude Ngoma defended herself by saying, 'She didn't get serious at all, so I took her to court because I deserve to know the way forward and our future.
THE COURT RETURNED THE CASE
However, the Zambian court could not do much because the two people were not married. The presiding judge ruled that the two should try to reconcile their differences outside of court.
