Britain's Queen Elizabeth will confer the title of Knight on Captain Tom Moore, who has become a national hero by raising millions of pounds for health workers in the Corona epidemic. He will become ‘Sir Tom’ after conferring knight on Friday. The British news agency Reuters reported.

Captain Tom, who fought in World War II, raised about 33 million British pounds in his garden with 100 rounds. He toured the garden in collaboration with a frame on the occasion of his birthday.

His initiative won the hearts of the people of Britain. It was then that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson nominated him for the title.

As Tom Moore wrote on Twitter, I never thought of such an achievement. This is a great honor.
