Facebook is going to start streaming music videos on their own platform. It is rumored that the facility will be launched in the United States from next month. Google's video-sharing platform YouTube will be challenged due to this new initiative of Facebook.

Technology news outlet TechCrunch reports that the video will be added to their page automatically if Facebook is allowed to use a new option. Later fans will go to the video tab of the page and watch that video.

Artists and singers who have been under contract with major music companies in the United States for several years cannot upload any of their videos to Facebook. They can only share parts of a video.
