Telecom major Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is eyeing to regain its market dominance by offering new broadband plans. Though it's quite late to enter the market space, the company has finally rolled out its 4G network services in some of the circles. It has reduced broadband plans and brought new cost-effective cum introductory prices to woo Internet users.
Reliance Jio had recently launched its Jio Fiber plan starting at Rs 699. Eyeing the same, BSNL has reintroduced Rs 777 plan, which was earlier stopped by the company a few months ago.
The plan includes 500 GB of data per month at a speed of 50 Mbps for six months. The speed is half as compared to JioFibre that was rolled a couple of weeks ago. The plan will mark its presence only for six months after which users will have to upgrade to the Rs 849 plan. The latter plan will include 600 GB per month at the same speed of 50 Mbps.
Meanwhile, JioFiber is offering Bronze plan at Rs 699 p/m which offers 100 Mbps of speed which includes 150 GB, while it is a silver plan at Rs 899 offers 400 GB data.
The above offer will benefit customers in those locations where the Jio Fiber is yet to make a presence and those require more data.
the price of the BSNL broadband plan can go up to Rs 16,000 per month as compared to JioFiber's Rs 8499 plan, which includes speed up to 1 Gbps.
